MtM on Tour: Antigone in Amsterdam and Nijmegen
Today Antigone, our On Tour film of April, is screened in Amsterdam in Kriterion (19:30) and in Nijmegen in LUX (19:30).
Loosely based on Sophocles’ Greek tragedy, Antigone tells the story of Antigone, who fled to Canada with her family for a better life but instead faces injustice. When her brother gets shot Antigone and her family discover that immigrants don’t have the same chance of getting justice done.
