Spencer was perpetrator and victim of the Liberian war. As an eighteen year old, he has a past of a child soldier and now has to adapt to normal life again. In an aid programme, he learns that killing people is not normal. The programme prepares him to return to his hometown, where he has to find the courage to ask for forgiveness.
