Movies that Matter Festival 2022

  • When does the festival take place?

    The festival will take place from Friday 25 March to Sunday 3 April, 2022.

  • Where does the festival take place?

    The Movies that Matter Festival 2021 take place in The Hague and online. At a later stage we will announce the participating film theatres.

  • When do ticket sales start?

    Ticket sales start in the evening of Thursday 3 March.

  • Where can I find information about ticket sales and prices?

    All information about ticket sales and ticket prices will be announced at a later date.

  • When will the full programme be announced?

    The full film programme will be announced before the ticket sales start on March 3. Some Q&A’s and talks may still be added to the programme in the following week.

  • When will the festival newspaper be published?

    Our festival newspaper will be published on 3 March as an insert to the Trouw newspaper.

    Newsletter subscribers who have registered to receive the festival newspaper at home will receive it shortly after 3 March. Please note that the festival newspaper is in Dutch.

  • Can I sign up as a volunteer this year?

    Certainly! In January you will find more information about volunteering and the registration form on our website.

  • I am a filmmaker. How do I submit my film?

    From 1 June until 21 November 2021 you can submit your film for the Movies that Matter Festival 2022.
