Monday 19 April the first ever Movies that Matter rough cut service will be held.
8 compelling projects in their rough-cut stage from all corners of the world have been selected by an international panel. Each film-team will get a 45-minute feedback session with the panel. The most promising rough cut will be awarded with € 1.000, made possible by the Docs Up Fund.
This is a closed session in order to give the film teams all the space to improve their film, get advice on finance possibilities and consult on impact plans. A closed preparatory meeting is held on 9 April to get the projects ready for the big day.
The panel consists of: Sigal Yehuda (Closeup), Alex Szalat (Docs Up Fund,) Judy Kibinge (DocuBox), Sergi Doladé (Medimed), Rada Šešić (Sarajevo Film Festival & Eastern Neighbours Film Festival), Maciej Nowicki (Watch Docs Human Rights Filmfestival Warsaw) and Andrea Prenghyová (Dokincubator).
Moderator: Gitte Hansen.
This is a closed event and there are no tickets on sale.
