After the screening, Russia expert and travel journalist Jelle Brandt Corstius will talk to director Vera Krichevskaya and Natasha Sindeeva, founder of TV Rain (Dozhd TV). Helga Salemon, an experienced researcher of Russia and the post-Soviet states, will join the panel to discuss the current situation, the media landscape in Russia and the controversial ‘Foreign Agent’ law.
The screening is in context of Sakharov Prize winner Alexei Navalny. Since 1988, the Sakharov Prize for Freedom of Thought has been awarded by the European Parliament to individuals, groups and organizations working for human rights.
