Earth at Stake: I Am the River, The River is Me

Following the screening of I Am the River, the River Is Me, there will be a conversation with activist Ned Tapa and René van Hell, director of Inclusive Green Growth, and director Petr Lom. Moderation by Marieke Eyskoot.

This screening is in collaboration with the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

René van Hell has been at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs since 2012, initially as Director for International Enterprise, and later as Ambassador to Hungary. Since 2021 he is the director for Inclusive Green Growth, Ambassador for Sustainable Development and Arctic Ambassador. His directorate coordinates international climate and energy policy, and it manages a portfolio of development corporation activities.

Marieke Eyskoot is a sustainable lifestyle-expert, author, speaker and presenter. She has worked as a moderator for Dutch Design Week, ASN Bank, Stichting DOEN, Fairtrade International, various Ministries, Netflix and many others, and is one of the presenters of Dutch television programme BinnensteBuiten (InsideOut). Her modern guidebook This is a Good Guide – for a Sustainable Lifestyle (a bestseller with 50.000 copies of the series published worldwide) is packed with practical and positive tips on fashion, beauty, food, home and travel, which make doing good fun and reachable.
