Q&A with Rahul Jain and Leonie van der Stijl

In association with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs we present a documentary about the fight for a sustainable world, followed by a Q&A.

A habitable planet means welfare for poor and rich, for men and women and for present and future generations. That is why the Ministry of Foreign Affairs commits itself to providing access to and sustainable usage of natural resources, for everyone. The Netherlands collaborates with different governments, multilateral institutions, NGO’s, companies and civilians to secure the provision of public goods such as raw materials, water and energy for the future. The most important guidelines in doing so are the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG’s), globally determined goals for sustainable development.

Rahul Jain is an editor and director. Before Invisible Demons he worked on Machines (2016): a portrait of the daily life of the workers in an Indian textile factory.
Leonie van der Stijl is a climate diplomat at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. She works with colleagues and partners worldwide to increase climate ambition. Her primary focus is on multilateral events and the Asia Pacific Region. Before joining the climate team, she was posted in New Delhi where she worked on corporate social responsibility.
