Q&A with climate activist Sebastiaan Vanisselroy

In 2018, climate activists occupied the Hambach forest in western Germany, which energy company RWE planned to cut down to expand its nearby lignite mine. During a police raid on the Hambach forest, film student Steffen Meyn was killed. Lonely Oaks offers very personal insights and highlights activists who are willing to risk their lives to protect the environment. Moderator and journalist Naeeda Aurangzeb will ask how far activism is allowed and can go, among other things, after the screening with Sebastiaan Vannisselroy, an activist with Extinction Rebellion who was involved in a similar action in Germany.
