Even though, she is imprisoned, human rights lawyer Nasrin Sotoudeh keeps fighting for a dignified life for the people of Iran and the world. It is very clear the government wants to silence her but worldwide campaigns for her release continue every day. She will definitely not be silenced.
After the film journalist Alwin Helmink speaks with Iranian activist Mansoureh Shojaee who is a close friend of Nasrin and will represent her at the festival. Helmink also talks with director Jeff Kaufman and producer Marcia Ross about making this important film. All three guests are very close to Nasrin and her family and will discuss her current situation, her case and why it is so important to keeping sharing her story.
