However, after Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine in 2022, she made the decision to emigrate due to censorship and repressive laws. Now Polina lives in Amsterdam and is trying to adapt to her new reality. She hosts a morning news show, and her professional focus is on defending the rights of women and LGBTQ+ people.
