Opening by pianist Sofiia Dorosh (14 years)

This special evening will be opened by 14 year old pianist Sofiia Dorosh, student of the Davidsbündler Music Academy.

She will perform on piano: 
 D.Scarlatti – Sonata in D major K119
 F.Chopin “Etude”, № 5, Op.90

Until recently, Sofiia was a top student at the Kyiv Lysenko State Music Lyceum. Together with her mother, she moved to the Netherlands at the beginning of the war in March 2022. At present, she continues to study piano with her Ukrainian piano professors Tetiana Abaieva and Borys Fedorov at Davidsbundler Music Academy in The Hague.

Since her arrival in the Netherlands, Sofiia has performed in Het Concertgebouw Amsterdam, on Podium Klassiek, MAX television and at various festivals, including a performance with the Concertgebouw Chamber Orchestra.
