Xandra Schutte, editor in chief of De Groene Amsterdammer, talks with Turkish German lawyer and Islamic feminist Seyran Ateş and director Nefise Özkal Lorentze about how this film was created and why Islam needs reforming from within. Why is sexual freedom taboo? Or does the young Muslim generation in Europe not view it in this way anymore? Ateş will also tell us more about the Ibn Ruschd-Goethe-mosque which she founded in 2017. This is the first liberal place of worship for Muslims in Germany, where men and women pray together.
