Activist Night 2019

The Activist programme features eight powerful documentaries on human rights defenders from all over the world. You can join these heroes at screenings, debates and Q&A sessions, and at the Activist Night on Wednesday 27 March. Meet the Activists here.

On this special night the activist from the competition programme Activist will be in the spotlights. A jury chaired by Marilyn Haimé (member of the board at Amnety Nederland) will hand over the Golden Butterfly Awards to the director of the winning film and an activist in the programme. Afterwards the winning films will be screened.
