Film Screenings at Dutch Embassies Worldwide

Every year, we organise a film project in cooperation with the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs. All Dutch embassies are given a menu of films about human rights for screenings on or around 10 December, International Human Rights Day, to raise awareness.

This year, nearly 60 embassies will screen one or more documentaries from this selection around December 10. For instance, the embassies in Cuba (Havana) and Niger (Chad) will show We Are Guardians, a film about the fight against deforestation in the Amazon. The documentary I Shall Not Hate, which follows the mission of a Palestinian doctor seeking tolerance and forgiveness, will be screened by 11 embassies, from the Dominican Republic (Santo Domingo) to Australia (Canberra).

Other films available for selection by the embassies included Mediha, Nice Ladies, Our Land, Our Freedom, and Who’s Afraid of Nathan Law?.
