L’Histoire de Souleymane follows Souleymane, a young man from Guinea who has reached Paris after a gruelling journey. Now in France, Souleymane is living as an undocumented migrant, working illegally as a food delivery rider to save up for the papers that would allow him to stay. Every day, he races through the streets of Paris, navigating the dangers of both the city and his precarious position. 

But the real pressure is looming on the horizon: he’s about to face the immigration authorities for his asylum interview, a pivotal moment that could determine his future in France. Souleymane is far from ready, his nerves tightening as the critical day draws closer. With no formal papers, he is forced to rely on a fabricated story—a story he has memorized and perfected, though it isn’t his own. As the clock ticks down to the interview, Souleymane begins to confront the weight of his deceit and the blurred line between survival and identity…
