Education

We bring human rights to the attention of pupils and students with film screenings at school, in cinemas and at the Movies that Matter Festival. We encourage teachers in the Netherlands – especially in (v)mbo and practical education – to reinforce their lessons with human rights films and accompanying teaching materials (in Dutch).

Would you like to discuss discrimination, identity, conflict or another social issue in class? During the Movies that Matter Festival, we present accessible films on social issues for pupils and students. Together with a moderator and guest speaker(s), we delve deeper into the topics in the film during the interactive programme.
