Join a Movies that Matter On Tour committee
Will you join one of the Movies that Matter On Tour volunteer groups as a committee member and help organise the in-depth programme at an On Tour screening?
Movies that Matter On Tour is a spin-off of the Movies that Matter Festival in The Hague. From October to May, one film per month tours through seventeen movie theaters throughout the Netherlands. An in-depth programme is organised for each film, in the form of, for example, an introduction, discussion or Q&A. But also think of a quiz, exhibition or spoken word performance.
Each On Tour city works with its own volunteer group. As a volunteer of the On Tour group, you are responsible for the in-depth programme in your city: you invite guests, organise the evening and draw attention to the screening through promotion. The (chairman of the) committee maintains regular contact with Movies that Matter and the film theater concerned.
The volunteer position requires around 2-4 hours a week of your time and in return you get a lot of knowledge, special experiences and an expansion of your network.
