Films are at the heart of all Movies that Matter activities. Our programme team selects films and combines them with in-depth programmes such as Q&A’s, panel discussions, and workshops.

In countries where human rights and press freedom are at stake, we support film festivals and mobile cinema projects through grants, workshops, training and advice. We are also a founding member of the Human Rights Film Network.

We bring human rights to the attention of pupils and students with film screenings at school, in cinemas and at the Movies that Matter Festival.
