Cinema for Climate Action

Creatives for Climate in partnership with Oxfam, is inviting you to an evening of powerful storytelling and thought-provoking discussions at the EYE Filmmuseum in Amsterdam. Movies that Matter’s Artistic Director Margje de Koning will deliver a keynote on the transformative power of film and cinema to inspire and drive change

​Storytelling through cinema is a powerful tool for climate action to engage audiences emotionally, inform them visually, and inspire collective change. Together, we’ll dive into the forefront of creative communication and spotlight the role of storytelling, cinema and creativity in driving effective change.

​Here’s what awaits:

  • Impactful films: watch short films including, Hold the Line and a special cut of Buy Now: The shopping Conspiracy, to spark conversation, ignite hope, and challenge perspectives on the climate crisis.

  • Hear from Leading Creatives: A highlight of the evening, hear from a range of leading creative climate activists and storytellers across sectors.
