From a young age, Joppe has been wearing girls’ clothes and wigs. In grade eight, she took a big step and asked everyone to address her as “she” rather than “he” from now on. That actually went quite easily. Still, some things remain difficult. For instance, she doesn’t know how the boy she likes would react if he found out she was born with gender dysphoria. She also can’t wait until she looks completely like a woman.
