Ten years in the life of troubled Budapest street kid Sanyi, as he grows from 8 to 18 years old. Over the course of a decade, he turns from a mischievous youth into a public enemy. An intimate coming-of-age story.
Sanyi is the youngest son of a very poor family in the centre of Budapest. A creative and excited kid, he escapes as often as he can from his tiny family home to roam the streets, looking for space and adventure. On the streets he meets David, a 22-year-old artist and skater. A solid and atypical friendship begins, lasting ten years.
During these ten years, David will try to channel Sanyi’s energy and anger into skateboarding, street art and role-play, while recording all their games and documenting Sanyi’s life with his camera. But one night, shortly after his sixteenth birthday, Sanyi commits an irredeemable act. Overnight, the creative kid becomes a public enemy…
