Talk with Anisa Boonman and Thomas van Gool

De Groene Amsterdammer presents a special screening of From Ground Zero. After the film, Bahram Sadeghi will moderate a conversation with Anisa Boonman and Thomas van Gool.

Anisa Boonman is a content creator with a Palestinian-Dutch background. She was born in the Netherlands and her Palestinian father died when she was 7 years old. Her father’s family lives in Gaza. Anisa made an episode about her Palestinian identity for the online EO programme Hoedan.

Thomas van Gool is project leader Israel-Palestine at peace organisation PAX. Previously, he lived and worked in the West Bank for several years and studied Middle Eastern politics in London. Thomas combines supporting Israeli and Palestinian peace and human rights activists and organisations as best as possible with the commitment to a better Dutch policy towards Israel-Palestine.

Bahram Sadeghi (1967, Iran) works as a freelance director and presenter. He also writes for several national magazines and organises debates.
