Activist Night
The Activist Night on Tuesday 25 March will focus on human rights defenders and their films. The activists from the eight selected films will be present and put in the spotlight. The directors of the films will also attend.
The evening will be opened by Human Rights Ambassador Wim Geerts. After the screening of the documentary Sudan, Remember Us, presenter Simone Weimans will talk with activist Ahmed Muzamil and director Hind Meddeb.

A movement led by young Sudanese activists, artists and street poets resists military rule with hope and creativity. Followed over a period of four years after the removal of dictator Omar al-Bashir, their belief in a better future is unshakable, despite the country descending into repression and civil war.
