About Juliette Dominicus
Juliette Dominicus is a documentary director, researcher, and videographer. Her documentary Indisch Zwijgen (2022) was released in cinemas nationwide, accompanied by an impact programme aimed at raising awareness of the colonial past. Her work is deeply personal, exploring themes such as heritage, identity, and cultures of silence. In 2023, Juliette was selected as ‘FD Talent of the Year’ by Dutch newspaper Het Financieele Dagblad.
About Kyron Olmeijer
The question of where ‘home’ is has preoccupied Kyron throughout his life. Born and raised in a village in South Limburg, yet with family histories unfolding elsewhere, he learned early on that home is not necessarily a place, but a feeling – and sometimes a search. His mother grew up as a Protestant in the predominantly Catholic south, while his father was the child of Indo-European immigrants who had to redefine their roots in a new country. This appreciation for individual histories and recognition of where people come from is also reflected in his work as behavioral psychologist.
