Devika Partiman (1988) is one of the Netherlands’ best-known feminists. She is director and founder of Stem op een Vrouw, the foundation dedicated to the position of women in politics in the Netherlands. In October 2024, her eponymous book ‘Vote for a Woman – The fight for women in politics’ was published. In 2019, she won the Ribbius Peletier medal for her commitment to women’s emancipation, and in 2021 she was one of the nominees for the Joke Smit Prize. Partiman is also a board member at Zus ‘n Zo and at Nederland Wordt Beter, and a supervisor at ActionAid Netherlands.
