Communal Iftar

After the screening of Writing Hawa, we invite you to break the fast together with an Iftar. The Iftar is a wonderful tradition of Ramadan, in which the fast is broken with a date and a glass of milk, followed by a delicious, traditional meal.

The Movies that Matter Festival and Theatre De Vaillant join forces for a special film screening! This time we bring Writing Hawa, an impressive documentary about identity, resilience and finding your own voice. After the film, we will close the evening with a communal Iftar, a moment of connection to break the fast together. While enjoying a meal, there will be space to chat and share experiences about the film and the themes touched upon.
