After the screening of Yalla Parkour, we invite you to break the fast together with an Iftar. The Iftar is a wonderful tradition of Ramadan, in which the fast is broken with a date and a glass of milk, followed by a delicious, traditional meal.
In Yalla Parkour, we follow a group of young Palestinian parkour athletes who pursue their passion for parkour despite the constraints of their environment. Among the ruins and borders of Gaza, they find a way to escape daily reality. Jumping, running and balancing over obstacles becomes for them a symbol of hope and resistance. But how do you keep dreaming when your world seems to get smaller and smaller?
After the film, we will end the evening with a communal Iftar, a great opportunity to break the fast together. While enjoying a meal, there will be space to talk about the film and share experiences.
Don’t miss this special screening and be inspired by the strength and resilience of these young athletes!
