De Missie van de Nieuwe Maker

For students and filmmakers at the start of their career, we present De Missie van de Nieuwe Maker (The Mission of the New Maker). An inspiring afternoon programme where we help you on your way to making and financing your film.

As a maker, how do you find your way to funds, broadcasters and financiers? What options are there to let your dream film see the light of day? How do you choose your subject and which strategies can be devised to make your film have a major impact?

A lineup of experienced professionals from various corners of the industry are ready to share their tips and answer your burning questions.

Two short films will also be screened during the programme: a preview of Teledoc Campus Ongepland by Janetta Ubbels and the short fiction film Donna by Sonia Commandeur. The filmmakers will join in person to present their films and enter into a conversation about their film's subject as well as the making process.

In short, the springboard to the professional world!
