Sarah Saidan
Home of the Heart portrays the story of Omid, an Iranian immigrant living in France. In his daily life, he constantly is a victim of microaggressions. One night he is attacked and stabbed in the heart. Unexpectedly, he survives the stab and so he discovers that he has no heart at all. Did he leave it behind in Iran?
This short film has been part of the programme Shorts: Through the Eyes of Others at the Movies that Matter Festival 2022.
