Should women wear a veil? Is secular society an illusion? In a beautiful country house outside of Tehran, atheist Iranian filmmaker Mehran Tamadon discusses the Iranian regime with four strongly religious supporters of the Islamic Republic.                             

It took the Iranian filmmaker, who lives in France, a few years to persuade the supporters of the Iranian regime to defend their world view in front of the camera. While cooking, eating, lighting a campfire and listening to music, the men discuss their different views on politics, civil society and the (im)possibility of peaceful coexistence. The women, for their part, are in a separate room, mostly off-camera.

No consensus is reached, yet the representatives of both camps end up having started a dialogue. A unique, humorous and philosophical documentary about being different, about human nature and above all about the importance of dialogue.
