Snowpiercer takes place in a future where a failed experiment for climate change resulted in the extiction of mankind on a earth, apart from the lucky few aboard the train. Within the train, a new class system arises. The poor live under poor conditions, and are constantly being watched by armed guards. For a long time, they take their daily life for granted. But when one of them stands up against the guards, a revolution starts.
