It’s time to thoroughly express our gratitude to the Third World. After all, the people who live there work hard on our behalf, day in and day out. They work hard – often for a mere pittance or for nothing at all – struggling in appalling and dangerous circumstances so we don’t have to go without our bananas, chocolate, mobile telephones, cheap clothes and plastic toys.
