Thorns and Silk tells the fascinating stories of four Palestinian women whose job is traditionally done by men.
We follow a woman who films women-only weddings in Hebron. We listen to the accounts of a female taxi driver in the Israeli part of Jerusalem. We see a young, dreamy police agent in training and get to know a mother from Nablus who works as a mechanic. All four women have the courage to break out of traditional role patterns, but that is not always as easy as it may seem.
