Brainwash Festival

Brainwash returns in October. With an exclusive opening night featuring Deborah Levy on Thursday 29 October and a festival weekend on Saturday 31 October and Sunday 1 November, Brainwash creates a space for incisive questions, uncomfortable insights and radical visions. Together with philosophers, writers, scientists and artists, we’ll question what seems self-evident, break down entrenched mindsets and explore hopeful ideas for tomorrow’s world.

During Brainwash Festival 2026, we’ll explore this year’s theme, ‘the shape of us’, from various perspectives. Through performances, lectures, discussions, films and encounters that make the new conceivable.

Movies that Matter will also be joining us once again. Together, we’ll be presenting a programme where film and ideas come together. We’ll be announcing soon which films we’ll be screening and exactly what we have in store for you. Keep an eye on our channels!
