Festival Box Office
From Friday 22 March, you can also buy tickets at the festival box office in The Hague. The festival box office in the foyer of Theater aan het Spui will be open daily from 22 March to 30 March. At the festival box office, you can buy tickets for film screenings in Filmhuis Den Haag, Theater aan het Spui, Nieuwspoort and Kunstmuseum. Please note that it can be busy at the box office on location and arrive on time. At our festival box office, payment can only be made by PIN and credit card. You can NOT pay by cash at the festival box office.
We Are Public pass holders can pick up their (reserved) tickets at the festival box office. This is possible on the day of the screening, from the opening of the box office until a maximum of 15 minutes before the start of the screening.
Theater Dakota, De Nieuwe Regentes and satellite venues
Tickets for screenings at Theater Dakota, De Nieuwe Regentes, Nest, De Vaillant and the satellite locations will be on sale from 7 March via the website and/or box office of the respective theatres.

To buy a ticket through our website, you need an account. For this, you only need to provide your name and email address.
If you haven’t received an e-ticket, also check your spam to be sure. Add tickets@moviesthatmatter.nl to your contacts so that you do receive subsequent mails properly.
Did you also not receive the e-ticket as spam? Send an e-mail to tickets@moviesthatmatter.nl. Indicate in your e-mail for which screening (film title, date and time) you have purchased a ticket. We will contact you as soon as possible.
Unfortunately, we cannot refund money for tickets already purchased. It is also not possible to exchange ordered tickets for tickets for another screening.
Cineville tickets can be cancelled via the website. Go to the shopping basket. Log in to your account. Under ‘My Account’ you will find ‘Order history’. Here you can cancel the relevant order.
Except for zaal 3 at Filmhuis Den Haag, all cinemas during the festival are wheelchair accessible.

If you wish to use a wheelchair space, please send an email to tickets@moviesthatmatter.nl after purchasing a ticket to reserve a wheelchair space.
If the available wheelchair spaces are already reserved, we will work together to find another suitable moment for you when the film is screening. If that is not possible, we will refund the purchase amount.
Planning to go to several films at the Movies that Matter Festival? Buy a Multi Ticket and benefit from a nice discount!
For one film ticket, you pay € 12.50. But with a € 60 Multi-Ticket, you can book six film visits at a reduced rate. If you prefer to go to the film with someone, you can also use the strippenkaart to order a maximum of two tickets per film screening.
You can purchase a Multi Ticket online via this page. After payment, the MtMF Multi Ticket is automatically linked to your account. From 7 March, the full film programme will be online and you can order tickets for screenings using the Multi Ticket.
How to use the MtMF Multi Ticket?
The Multi Ticket is only valid for film screenings in Filmhuis Den Haag, Theater aan het Spui, Nieuwspoort and the Kunstmuseum. The Multi Ticket cannot be used to buy combi-tickets.

Cineville is valid for all regular film screenings at Filmhuis Den Haag, Theater aan het Spui and a number of satellite locations. Read more about the ordering process here.

With your We Are Public pass, you can visit some specific film screenings. From 7 March, you will find the selection on the We Are Public website.

You can reserve a We Are Public ticket for the screenings from the selection via the website. Online reserved We Are Public tickets can then be picked up at the festival box office in the foyer of Theater aan het Spui. You can do this on the day of the screening, from the opening of the box office, until a maximum of 15 minutes before the screening.
At the festival box office
You can also order a We Are Public ticket for a screening at the festival box office in the foyer of Theater aan het Spui, while stocks last. You can do this on the day of the screening, from the opening of the box office, until a maximum of 15 minutes before the start of the screening.
Ooievaarspas holders get a 50% discount on regular film screenings at the Filmhuis Den Haag, Theater aan het Spui, Kunstmuseum and Nieuwspoort.
Online ticket sales
Ooievaarspas holders can order tickets for film screenings at Filmhuis Den Haag, Theater aan het Spui, Kunstmuseum and Nieuwspoort from Thursday 7 March on our website. Choose the ticket type ‘Ooievaarspas’ enter your pass number on the front of your pass. Click on ‘order’. You will receive an e-ticket with a QR code. You can order several different films in one purchase. Your e-ticket will be scanned at the entrance to the screening room.
It is not possible to order Industry tickets and combi-tickets (such as Best of #MtMF24, the HUMAN-day, the Trouw-afternoon, the 2Doc evening, De Groene-day and the Camera Justitia-day) with your Ooievaarspas. However, you can order tickets with your Ooievaarspas for the individual screenings that are part of the special.
At the festival box office
If there is still availability for a film, you can also order a ticket with your Ooievaarspas at the festival box office last minute. Have your pass scanned at the festival box office and you will receive a ticket.
No, the Nationale Bioscoopbon cannot be used to purchase a Movies that Matter ticket for a screening at Filmhuis Den Haag, Theater aan het Spui, Nieuwspoort and Kunstmuseum.
Tickets for screenings at Theater Dakota, De Nieuwe Regentes, Nest, De Vaillant and the satellite venues can be purchased via the website and/or box office of the relevant theatres from 7 March onwards. Here, the ticket sales rules of the theatre itself apply.
No, the Friends Pass, Movie Gift Card and 10x Movie Card from Filmhuis Den Haag are not valid for screenings at the Movies that Matter Festival.
