A heartwarming Irish coming-of-age story about Christy, a boy on the threshold of adulthood.

After being kicked out by his foster family, Christy moves in with his brother Shane and his young family in a working-class neighborhood in Cork, Ireland. The brothers have not seen each other for a long time, and Shane considers the arrangement temporary.

However, Christy gradually begins to feel at home and is embraced by a small, close-knit community. He also comes into contact with negative influences from his past – people Shane, with the help of the local community, is trying to keep him away from. Together, they must come to terms with their turbulent past and decide what the future might look like.
