The true story of public prosecutors Julio Strassera and Luis Moreno Ocampo, taking the top brass of Argentina’s diatctorship to trial. However, the junta’s supporters still hold much power, making it an extremely difficult – and dangerous – job. Superbly acted testament to the power of truth and justice.

‘History isn’t made by guys like me,’ public prosecutor Julio Strassera says. His superiors have just forced upon him a job he has no faith in at all: the trial against the top brass of Argentina’s bloody junta, shortly after its reign ended. He is certain the powers that be will never give former president Videla and his gang what they deserve – they still have too much support. Strassera is afraid he’s being used. And he’s afraid for his family, receiving death threats right from the start.

However, coupled with inexperienced but driven deputy Luis Moreno Ocampo, and having assembled a young, unorthodox legal team, they start their mission impossible. As their investigation builds up speed and their case gets stronger by the day, the threats build up too – and are no longer limited to just words. Very well-documented, gripping account of the most important court case in Argentina’s history.
