The Artist Talk is part of the Roots & Soil (Kökler & Toprak): a poignant exhibition born from a long-term collaboration between by photographer Ahmet Polat and students from Gaziantep, who share their experiences after the largest Turkish earthquake on Feb. 6, 2023. The exhibition will feature multimedia works by the students and teachers focusing on their experiences one year after the largest earthquake in Turkish history.
During the Artist Talk, led by presenter Erisn Kiris, we will delve deeper, together with Ahmet Polat and students and lecturers from Hasan Kalyoncu University, we will talk about the aftershocks of the Gaziantep earthquake one year after the event and its impact on artists' works.
