In the Industry Awards Ceremony, we celebrate the outstanding projects from this year’s Take on Film & Impact programme and the Rough Cut Service.
Projects selected for the Take on Film & Impact programme and the Rough Cut Service are eligible for a series of awards, generously offered by our industry partners. These awards recognise excellence in storytelling, innovation in impact strategy, and the power of film to inspire action. Don’t miss this opportunity to connect with filmmakers, industry professionals, and impact leaders as we come together to celebrate the transformative potential of film.
The following awards will be presented:
AJD INDUSTRY DAYS AWARD – Balkan Pitch
Winner: The Consort
The AJD INDUSTRY DAYS AWARD – Balkan Pitch provided by Al Jazeera Documentary will allow one project to participate in the AJD Industry Days Forum – Balkan pitch.
#DocsConnect Award by Taskovski Training
Winner: Inside Gaza
#DocsConnect Taskovski Training Award includes a one-year mentorship with an award-winning industry expert Irena Taskovski, featuring three sessions tailored to the project’s needs.
The Sunny Side Award by Sunny Side of the Doc
Winner: Homeland Security
The Sunny Side award will be given to one of the projects pitched during Movies that Mater. The Sunny Side team will select the most ambitious project with an important international potential. The selection team will look at the quality of the film as well as the pertinence of the Impact campaign.
Storyboard and Together Films Impact Award
Winner: A Song Without Home
A senior member of Together Films’s strategy team will work with you on a short term basis to provide a strategy consultation call & detailed minutes. This is the perfect for those looking to bring some early clarity to their impact vision and discuss the impact distribution potential for your project. Storyboard Collective will then award CHF 5’000 to the selected project to kickstart the stratgey.
ESoDoc Award for Impact by ZeLIG / ESoDoc
Winner: Hope is a Word
The ESoDoc Award for Impact includes a consultation with impact expert Vivian Schröder (The Good Media Network) to kick-off the development of an impact campaign strategy for the winning project.
The Catalyst Award by Working Films
Winner: Justice in the Land of Fog
Working Films – The Catalyst Award consists of an interactive 2-part workshop focused on the key elements of Impact Campaigns and from our movement centered approach to impact (valued at $5k).
The Docs Up Fund Award
All projects participating in the Rough Cut Service are eligible for the The Docs Up Fund Award. The award will go to a project with strong strength of its topic and cinematic approach.
