Shorts: Unveiled Power Structures
Unveiled Power Structures examines the systems that shape our societies. How do we recognize these structures and how do they affect our daily lives?
Bringing together five films from three continents, this program exposes the harsh realities created by these hierarchies of power. The works move from the right to migrate in search of opportunities – or the risk of dying at sea – to the prejudice and exploitation faced by marginalized communities and the inequalities that continue to divide our societies. They confront dehumanizing military propaganda, lives shaped by collective trauma and the experience of living under occupation.
The films reveal how deeply these systems are embedded in our world, while encouraging us to question and confront them in our daily lives.
