The temporarily displaced teenager Olivia wants nothing more than to return to her mother Selma. In crisis center Girla, she discovers just how suffocating their symbiotic bond truly is.

Temporarily removed from her home, teenager Olivia longs to return to her mother Selma, despite their endless and heated arguments. At crisis centre Girla, she finds herself among equally troubled peers and well-meaning social workers. As she navigates the turbulent and colourful world of Girla, Olivia gradually starts to move more freely. She gains new insights into herself, her loyalty, and the suffocating bond with her mother.

Directed by Daphne Lucker, and starring Thekla Reuten, Rifka Lodeizen and Sophie Lindner.
