A regular ticket costs €13.50, but with a multi ticket you pay less per film. And the best part: you can also share the pass with a friend (or friends). Perfect for going to your favourite films together.

How it works

- The multi ticket is only valid for film screenings during the Movies that Matter Festival 2026 (March 20–28).
- The multi ticket is only valid for screenings at Filmhuis Den Haag and Theater aan het Spui.
- The multi ticket cannot be used to purchase combi tickets or to watch On Demand films during the festival period.
- Note: The multi ticket itself does not provide direct access to screenings. You must always order a ticket in advance with the multi ticket for the screening(s) of your choice. To order movie tickets using your multi ticket, you must first complete the payment for the multi ticket. Once the payment is processed, the multi ticket will be automatically linked to your account. After that, you can add your movie tickets to your cart and order them using the multi ticket.

The multi ticket will be available exclusively online starting Friday 14 November.
Follow these steps to order your multi ticket:
- Choose the multi ticket you want to purchase:
- Log in to your Movies that Matter account or create a new account.
- Enter the desired number of multi tickets.
- Click the “Add to cart” button.
- Select your payment method.
- Click the “Checkout” button to complete the payment.
After payment, you will receive a confirmation email. The multi ticket will be automatically linked to your account.
Note: to order movie tickets using your multi ticket, you must first complete the payment for the multi ticket. Once the payment is processed, the multi ticket will be automatically linked to your account. After that, you can add your movie tickets to your cart and order them using the multi ticket.

Yes, you can! You can purchase both the 5- and 10-multi tickets as a gift. After ordering a Multi Ticket, you’ll receive an email with a link to the digital gift card (available in English and Dutch), which you can print at home.
Ordering a gift card by post
During checkout, you can also indicate that you would like to receive the gift voucher by post. We will send the gift voucher by post within two working days of receiving your order. We charge €2 for postage. Gift vouchers can only be sent to addresses within the Netherlands.After placing your order, email your address details to info@moviesthatmatter.nl, stating “Gift cardr” in the subject line (please note: enter your own address here, not the recipient’s, so that you can write a message on the gift card). Please also indicate in the email whether you would like to receive the gift voucher in Dutch or English.
Gift card by post around the festive season
For the festive period, please note:- Wednesday 3 December is the last shipping day for Sinterklaas, Thursday 18 December is the last shipping day for Christmas.
- Our office will be closed from 19 December to 4 January. During this period we won’t send any physical gift vouchers, but from 5 January we’ll be happy to assist you again!
How it works
- Order the multi ticket of your choice and receive your multi ticket code.
You’ll find this code in the confirmation email and in your Movies that Matter account under ‘Multi Ticket’. - Give the multi ticket code as a gift.
Simply forward the code to the recipient. - The recipient activates the multi ticket.
They create a Movies that Matter account and enter the code under the tab ‘Multi Ticket’. - The multi ticket is linked to the account.
From 4 March, the recipient can select their own film tickets and pay using their multi ticket.

To order movie tickets using your multi ticket, you must first complete the payment for the multi ticket. Once the payment is processed, the multi ticket will be automatically linked to your account. After that, from 4 March onwards, you can add your movie tickets to your cart and order them using the multi ticket.
This is how you order movie tickets with the multi ticket:
- Log in to your Movies that Matter account.
- Go to the programme overview.
- Choose a film screening or Industry programme.
- Click the “Tickets” button.
- Under the ticket type, go to ‘5-Multi Ticket’ or ‘10-Multi Ticket’ and enter the desired number of tickets you’d like to order with the multi ticket.
- Click the “Add to cart” button.
- Click the “Checkout” button.
- You will now receive one or more e-tickets in your inbox.
- Present the e-ticket to be scanned at the screening hall.
Ordering tickets at the box office
It is also possible to order tickets with your multi ticket at the box office starting from the festival’s opening (20 March). To do so, have the QR code from the PDF in the confirmation email of your MtMF-Multi Ticket scanned. Check the website closer to the date for box office opening hours. Please note: the multi ticket itself must be ordered online. -
Yes, you can! You can use the multi ticket together or give it as a gift. Through your own account, to which the multi ticket is linked, you can use multiple strips per performance. This allows you to attend a film with one or more friends, for example.
Would you like someone else to be able to order tickets themselves, for example if you are giving the multi ticketas a gift? Then share the multi ticket code with them. You can find this code in the confirmation email for your strip card and in your Movies that Matter account under “MtMF Multi Ticket”.
If you have received a multi ticket code from someone, you can enter it in your Movies that Matter account under “MtMF Multi Ticket”. The multi ticket will then be linked to your account, allowing you to order tickets with it. It is also possible to link the multi ticket to your account when ordering tickets. In the webshop, select the ticket type “MtMF Multi Ticket”, select the desired number of strips, enter the multi ticket code and complete the ordering process.

Did you purchase a multi ticket yourself? After payment, the MtMF Multi Ticket will be automatically linked to your account. You can find your multi ticket and check your current balance under “Multi ticket” in your account.
If you have received a multi ticket code from someone, you can enter it in your Movies that Matter account under “Multi ticket”. The multi ticket will then be linked to your account, allowing you to order tickets with it.
You can also link the multi ticket to your account during the ticket ordering process. In the webshop, select the ticket type “MtMF Multi Ticket,” choose the desired number of tickets, enter the multi ticket code, and complete the ordering process.

The multi ticket itself will go on sale from Friday 14 November. Starting Wednesday 4 March at 12:00 PM CET, you can order tickets online using the multi ticket, one day ahead of general ticket sales.
It is also possible to order tickets with your multi ticket at the box office. However, this can only be done from the start of the festival, Friday 21 March. To do so, have the QR code from the PDF in the confirmation email of your MtMF Multi Ticket scanned. Check the website closer to the date for box office opening hours. Please note: the multi ticket itself must be ordered online.
