Amnesty Masterclass
Migration and Human Rights
The Universal Declaration of Human Rights states that everyone has the right to seek and enjoy asylum in another country from persecution (Art. 14). However, in practice, this often looks quite different — human rights are being violated! We warmly invite you to reflect on this together during the first masterclass of the year, held at a special location: the Movies that Matter Festival in The Hague.
We will watch the powerful documentary The Mind Game, about the psychological pressure young refugees face, and then engage in a discussion with a panel of experts. Together, we will explore key topics such as:
- The need for safe routes for refugees.
- The issues surrounding pushbacks at European borders.
- The impact on refugees’ mental health.
