Activist Night

The Activist Night on Tuesday 25 March will focus on human rights defenders and their films. The activists from the eight selected films will be present and put in the spotlight. The directors of the films will also attend. The evening will be opened by Dewi van de Weerd, ambassador International Cultural Cooperation at the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs. 

After the screening of the documentary Cutting Through Rocks, presenter Bahram Sadeghi will talk with directors Sara Khaki and Mohammadreza Eyni. 

At the end of the night, DJ Final Cut—who only plays at film festivals!—also known as Khalid Shamis, will take over the decks in the foyer of Theater aan het Spui.
