Closing Night: with musical performance from Azadeh Maghsoodi

The screening of the closing film Divine Comedy will be preceded by a musical introduction and a short opening remark by violinist Azadeh Maghsoodi of the Residentie Orkest The Hague.

In her contribution, she places the film in the context of current developments in Iran, connecting music to today’s social and political realities. As a German-Iranian musician and activist, she actively supports the “Woman, Life, Freedom” movement and raises awareness about the situation in Iran. This special opening sets the tone for a meaningful closing of the festival.

Prior to the screening the NPO Start Audience Award winner will also be announced.
