Q&A with the directors and activist Joseph Njenga,

In collaboration with Leiden University College The Hague, we present a Q&A program featuring directors Bea Wangondu & Andrew H. Brown and activist Joseph Njenga. They will discuss the conventional wisdom of indigenous people in Kenya to reclaim their land and the human rights violations suffered by local tea plantation workers at the hands of multinational corporations occupying the ancestral land of the Kikuyu community.

The programme will be moderated by Isidora Breyiannis, from the Leiden University College (LUC) film club. FilmCo is the film committee of the LUC student association. We primarily screen films for the LUC community. We also organize other film-related events, such as pub quizzes and trips to film festivals.
