The screening of MARIINKA will be followed by a discussion with filmmaker Pieter-Jan de Pue and protagonist Natasha Borodynia, in which they will discuss the making of the film and how he gained access to Ukraine, the story, and the people involved.

The Q&A is moderated by Marieke de Hoon, Associate Professor in International Criminal Law at the University of Amsterdam, specialised in digitalisation and transnationalization of atrocity crimes investigations in conflicts like Syria and Ukraine.
