The Dutch premiere of Muganga will be followed by an after-talk with the director of the Dr. Denis Mukwege Foundation in The Netherlands, Katrien Coppens, and the filmmaker Marie-Hélène Roux. They will discuss the aim of the film, the broader context of Congo, and the role of the Mukwege Foundation in the fight against the use of sexual violence as a weapon of war globally.
The Q&A is moderated by Chris Keulemans. He is a traveling writer, journalist, and activist, based in Amsterdam. His work revolves around migration, art, and human rights.
