The Dutch premiere of Muganga will be followed by an after-talk with the director of the Dr. Denis Mukwege Foundation in The Netherlands, Katrien Coppens, and the filmmaker Marie-Hélène Roux. They will discuss the broader context of Congo, how the doctor is doing today, and the work and significance of the foundation in the Netherlands.
The Q&A is moderated by Chris Keulemans. He is a traveling writer, journalist, and activist, based in Amsterdam. His work revolves around migration, art, and human rights.
