Conversation with the professor Marieke de Hoon

The screening of Soldier’s Bones will be followed by the conversation with Dr. Marieke de Hoon, an Associate Professor in International Criminal Law at the University of Amsterdam  and Movies that Matter artistic director Margje de Koning.

Dr. Marieke de Hoon’s reserach focuses on the digitalisation and transnationalization of atrocity crimes investigations in conflicts like Syria and Ukraine, and how this impacts the prosecution of international crimes. She is moreover Director of the Amsterdam Center for Criminal Justice (ACCJ) and Senior Counsel at the Public International Law & Policy Group (PILPG).
