In 1991, the shy but astute Branka becomes a maternity nurse in a Yugoslav state hospital. While Eastern Europe is in war, new born children are disappearing from the hospital. When Branka finds out that the disappearances and the war are connected, she decides to take action.

This short film has been part of the programme Shorts: Small Acts of Rebellion at the Movies that Matter Festival 2022.
